Today’s Trailblazers to raise money for water charity

Five members of the Today’s cycling team – The Today’s Trailblazers – are to cycle 100km around London by night on June 6 and 7 for the London Nightrider event, to raise money for Village Water, a charity supported by the Today’s Charitable Foundation.

Village Water aims to change lives in Zambia by providing safe water, sanitation and hygiene training.
#8232;”We have seen first-hand the work that Village Water do – they are truly remarkable. Clean water has a huge effect on well-being, which includes everything from supporting healthy crop growth and safe drinking water to general hygiene”, said Emma Down, marketing assistant at Today’s Group (pictured second from the right).
#8232;”We are training hard but it’s all for a great cause”, added Shazad Hussain, IT Co-ordinator at Today’s Group (picture far right).
To support the fundraising event, Today’s Group has just launched a page on Just Giving and would like to invite donations. The page allows everyone to donate directly while allowing donations to benefit from Tax Relief which means the pot grows even faster. The team is supported by L R Suntory which has sponsored all the bikes and cycling equipment for the event; and Nestlé is sponsoring the Go-Pro camera which will be used during the event.
