Today’s Group member Anglia Culinary Suppliers Ltd has moved into a new 10,000sq ft depot in Norwich.
The company purchased the new depot, which is 6,000sq ft larger than its previous premises, in June, but didn’t move in until late October to ensure that the transition from the old property to the new one was as smooth as possible for its customers.
Anglia Culinary Suppliers is a delivery only wholesaler that supplies convenience stores, hotels, restaurants, public houses and specialist caterers with a wide assortment of catering supplies and dried goods including luxury items such as frogs legs, escargot, caviar and foie gras.
Richard Wells, who established the company in 1969, commented: “I am confident our move into new premises and investment in new plant and equipment puts us in a very strong position for further growth in the future. Even though the economy is experiencing a downturn I have traded through three recessions and feel with the support of our excellent staff, loyal customers and valued suppliers we will all come through this temporary blip and move forward.”
