Today’s Group has launched a Wine Category Guide for independent retailers, developed in conjunction with Today’s Plan for Profit and the world’s leading wine suppliers. A guide to craft beer (pictured above) will follow shortly.
The booklet is designed to give retailers valuable insight into how they can take full advantage of the profitable wine category. Today’s Retail Director John Kinney says: “The guide walks retailers through three key strategies designed to make their store a key destination for wine.”
The booklet also includes an overview of different world wines, an introductory guide to tasting and a handy, detachable core range wine-shopping list to use when placing an order with wholesalers.
Today’s Group will also shortly launch a Craft Beer Guide for independent retailers, offering the same support with ranging. Both guides follow the success of the Soft Drinks Merchandising Guide, which was released last summer.
