By accommodating Scottish, Welsh and Northern Ireland fans, by providing their own retro shirts, and supplying non-promotional packs outside of England, World Cup fever and affection for the England team is unlikely to spread to the provinces.

By all accounts, Fairtrade Fortnight appears to have improved both retailer and consumer awareness of Fairtrade products and we are glad to be playing a part in this activity.

The FWD Annual Conference at The Belfry was probably one of the best ever. Speaker after speaker punched home strong positive messages. Ours is such a vibrant sector I wonder why we don’t make more of the amazing talent we have within it.

Drinksummit is scheduled for Friday June 9 at The Oxford Belfry. Our drinks business is looking good and there is still plenty of room for growth. Our man will be there (unless he gets an invitation to see England play in Germany), looking for fresh ideas and making new contacts with leading drinks suppliers. This is a day not to be missed.
