RH Amar amp; Co is a full service food distributor whose sales reach extends across the whole of the UK and into Ireland.
Its success in covering all areas effectively is reflected in its results which show sales growth in each of its last 22 financial years.

The company believes that the experience it has gained since its inception in 1945, combined with the fact that it operates totally out of cash reserves with no requirement for credit facilities, strengthens its hand in providing a secure and knowledgeable source of supply for buyers and an equally secure and cost-effective route to market for existing and prospective principals.
Del Monte has recently chosen RH Amar amp; Co to distribute its range of canned fruit, Fruit Express and its Fruitini products for these very reasons.
RH Amar amp; Co covers all UK trade channels with 60% of its business conducted with the major retail grocery multiples, 20% with foodservice and 20% with the cash and carry, wholesale and independent retail sectors.
While its sales are predominantly of branded products, 20% of its £32m-plus turnover is with private label. The company has been successful in building brands from very small beginnings while also being entrusted with sales responsibility for some major brands.
