Street Foods invests in BCP system

Street Foods is making a significant investment in a 14-user end-to-end Accord Distribution System including Voice directed warehouse management, from supply chain solutions specialist, BCP, to help support its continued growth.

Founded in 1990, Brook Street Foods is a member of Landmark Wholesale and supplies pre-packaged meat and other ambient, chilled and frozen food products to the catering trade in East Anglia, south-east Midlands and London.

With a steadily increasing customer base and plans for further expansion, Brook Street Foods made a decision to modernise its largely paper-based systems to support this growth, improve efficiencies and eliminate time consuming manual processes.

The investment covers BCP’s complete Accord solution, including purchasing, sales order management, stock control, telesales, financial accounting and customer relationship management (CRM) as well as the Voice WMS. The system is being implemented in phases with the first stage due to go live over the course of the next few weeks.

Mark Huggins, operations director at Brook Street said: “Accord is a brilliant match to our needs and I’m looking forward to completing the installation in order to make full use of its powerful functionality.”
