Wholesale software specialist STL has won deals with two leading cash and carry companies.
STL has secured a multi-store deal with Bestway Cash and Carry Group to supply tilling software across 33 of Bestway’s cash and carry depots. STL will install the tilling solution into 330 lanes, 99 central cash points and provide 33 till support solutions into the Bestway depots.
Younus Sheikh, MD of Bestway Cash and Carry, said: “Technology has a major role in any business today and this is fundamental within the Bestway group, especially in the area of ensuring cash flow across our 33 depots. The STL software package will hopefully help the group to continue to develop still further and endorse our strategy of helping us to build business for the independent retailers.”
STL has also agreed a tilling solutions deal with Parfetts. STL will install 80 new tills at Parfetts’ cash and carry depots in Stockport, Aintree, Anfield, Halifax and Sheffield.
Simon Hardisty, IT manager of Parfetts, said: “After a pilot at our Somercotes depot we decided that the STL tilling solution would be the right choice for our five other sites.
“STL is focused on the delivered wholesale and cash and carry industry and therefore understands our requirements and will readily take on board suggestions for enhancing their offering. We look forward to benefiting from the enhanced trading opportunities that the STL tilling solution will offer.”
