Spar UK launches new products as part of phase two of its S Budget range roll-out

Spar UK is rolling out the second phase of its S Budget range with new lines on shelf from next month (September).

Since its launch in August last year, the S Budget range has reached sales of £6m with its best selling product the S Budget Energy Drink – shifting two million singles since launch.

The new products include tea, coffee and double concentrate orange squash, as well as five new household products, which Spar UK says guarantee retail margins of at least 20%.

Earlier this year, Fish Fingers and a Cheese amp; Tomato pizza were also launched to build on the frozen food offer. Susan Darbyshire, SPAR brand director, said: “Since the S Budget launch last year, Spar retailers have already been bowled over by the popularity and success of the range, saying that it has come at the perfect time for their customers, so it seemed a natural move to launch nine fantastic new products into the range now.”

The new products will be supported by PoS materials including posters, barkers and shelf edge label enhancers. Themed S Budget kits offering external banners, window posters, hanging POS, fins, shelf stripping, gondola end headers and shelf barkers are also available.
