Reynolds extends its offer into meat and fish

Reynolds Catering Supplies, the Hertfordshire-based fresh produce wholesaler, has extended its offer into fresh meat, poultry and fish, living up to its motto of “More than just a greengrocer”.

The family-owned Features > Business, which is one of the UK’s biggest suppliers of fresh fruit and veg to the catering trade (latest figures indicate its turnover is £200m), has been steadily extending its offer beyond the core fresh pruduce range over the past few years: dairy, cheese and eggs; handmade pasta; prepared produce; cooking ingredients; condiments, oils, rice and tinned goods; specialist lines such as vanilla pods, smoked salmon, yeast and tofu; bread; and in 2010, it opened a state-of-the-art development kitchen to help chefs with menu creation.

“Driven by customer demand, Reynolds is pleased to be able to offer a selection of quality cooked and cured meats, poultry and fish, which have been specifically tailored for the foodservice market,” the company said. “Each product has been carefully selected to ensure it delivers against our high standards of quality, whilst offering the value for money that we know is essential to the modern operator. All products are supplied in convenient pack sizes to suit any busy kitchen.”

Reynolds was established 70 years ago as a fruit and veg stall at the Ridley Road market in Hackney, North-East London. It is currently based in Hertfordshire with five regional depots around the country.
