Footie will be the main theme for this year’s Pro-retail event, hosted by delivered wholesaler Palmer amp; Harvey. The show will be held at The International Centre in Telford on 13 and 14 May.
Thousands of visitors will be offered the chance to take a well-aimed penalty kick at this year’s Coca-Cola Stand to celebrate CCE’s sponsorship of the World Cup in Brazil this summer. Visitors who beat the goalies (chosen from the cream of CCE’s sales staff) score will take home a prize. UK vice president of sales and marketing Nick Canney will also make a visit to the stand.
Coca-Cola is one of more than 200 suppliers and manufacturers at the show, offering promotions, advice and networking opportunities to retailers.
Pro-retail is now into its 32nd year, attracting around six thousand visitors. This year, the show continues its theme “Right Up Your High Street”, exploring the “shopping locally” trend.
The category zones at the show include chilled, fresh and frozen food and alcohol. Once again, the P amp;H Village returns, offering small-scale suppliers and local producers a showcase for their ranges.
