Pro-retail looks forward to scoring some footie talent

Palmer amp; Harvey’s Pro-retail 2014 is preparing for an outbreak of football fever this summer with a host of soccer-themed activities at the trade show running on May 13 and 14.

More than two hundred suppliers will showcase their brands, offering deals and advice to retailers at the event taking place at the International Centre in Telford. There will also be a variety of tastings, demonstrations and visitor participation.

Freestyle footballer Danny McGee will show off his skills with a football on the KP Snacks stand. Ex-professional footballer Danny has appeared on TV and now runs his own company staging demonstrations and teaching ball skills to young people.

Lucozade Ribena Suntory is running a prize draw offering retail visitors two pairs of Adidas football boots designed in collaboration with Steven Gerrard and Mars Chocolate UK is promising that an ex-England football legend will be dropping in on the May 13 to sign autographs and meet retailers on the stand.

The show, now into its 32nd year, is continuing its theme “Right Up Your High Street” with emphasis on showing retailers how to make the most of their stores.
