Today’s Group member Dee Bee Cash Carry has launched an online ordering service which stores can offer to their customers.
The online ordering system enables customers of the Today’s Local stores supplied by Dee Bee to complete their food shop online, and arrange a convenient time-slot for the products to be delivered.
The system is operated entirely through the store’s epos system and customers log on to www.todaysfoodstores.co.uk and place orders which are then received by the epos system and forwarded to the retailer, alerting them that an order is waiting to be assembled. Once picked, the system then invoices and emails the customer, explaining that the order is in the process of being delivered to them.
Dee Bee has also launched a loyalty card for its retailers. Points will be issued to customers on the sales of products and the accumulated points on the card can then be used to buy other items in the store.
