Nestlé Professional strikes gold at awards

Following a year of growth and ongoing commitment to its wholesale partners, Nestlé; Professional has again been formally recognised as Service Company of the Year in Foodservice at FWD’s Annual Dinner and Gold Medal Awards, held at the Café Royal in London. The win is the fourth in six years in this highly prestigious sector.

Adding this award to its many industry accolades has been strongly welcomed by managing director David Field who emphasised the importance that the company places on this key sector of the market.

Nestlé Professional has significantly strengthened relationships with wholesale customers, driving customer service levels to an impressive 99.3% across its total Features > Business, through a number of successful trade incentives and customer support initiatives. The company continues to provide a range of business services to give customers optimum advantage, including collaborative supply chain planning, product category consultancy (beverage, food and confectionary), price promotions and promotional strategy.

A premier example of the company’s determination to reward loyalty rather than price promote has been “Britain’s Favourite Events”. This promotion was one of 2008’s most successful trade incentives, generating over 150,000 redemptions from both cash and carry, and wholesale customers. The incentive also went on to win Best Channel Marketing Activity at the B2B Marketing Awards. It also launched Maggi Menu solutions in 2008, an online customer package offering a wide choice of menu ideas, profit calculators as well as GDA calculators to enable customers to evaluate nutrition information.

David Field is delighted to have won the FWD Gold Medal Award, and thanks both customers and staff for their efforts, ideas and creativity.
