The FWD’s My Shop is Your Shop (MSYS) campaign and Cadbury have teamed up to give local retailers a chance to win prizes for their business and for their community.
They have launched a competition to reward the best community activity carried out by local retailers with the opportunity to win a Community Retailing Award, including £1,000 for a community charity of their choice, and £100 worth of Cadbury Twirl product.
“Being involved with your community and supporting their activity allows local businesses to be seen in a positive light, driving customer loyalty and enhancing a store’s unique appeal,” said Susan Nash, trade communications manager at Kraft Foods. “We want to support the great initiatives retailers are undertaking and reward the very best.”
The competition is open to any independent retailer who has undertaken community activity since June 1 this year. Entry forms can be downloaded from www.myshopisyourshop.co.uk or www.deliciousdisplay.co.uk.
