Nisa-Today’s has made changes within its senior management team with John Schofield and Neil Turton appointed to newly created positions as chief financial officer (CFO) and chief operating officer (COO) respectively, reporting to founder and executive chairman Dudley Ramsden.
Schofield will focus on finance and IT, and Turton on sales, marketing, trading and operations. Rodney Hunt will continue as managing director of the Today’s Group, as will managing director of central distribution, trading and logistics John Sharpe, both reporting to Schofield and Turton.
Hunt commented: “The restructure strengthens the existing management team and sees John Schofield and Neil Turton working very closely together on operational and financial matters, for the benefit of all Nisa-Today’s members – retail and wholesale.
“Neil has worked at Nisa-Today’s for 15 years – several of those closely with wholesale members. He is fully committed to all areas of the business and believes both retail and wholesale to be vitally, and equally, important.
“This is not an additional layer of management, but the strengthening of an existing one. It is a positive move for the business and will ensure our members’ continued success in the future.”
