Makro staged its first customer Christmas trade show for caterers, at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton.
The event was to showcase Makro’s Christmas ranges and own-brand offerings. Makro’s team of customer consultants and over 70 suppliers were on hand to offer guidance on how to be prepared for the most profitable season of the year and discuss individual business catering needs.
There were showcases for both of Makro’s major marketing initiatives, Love The Pub and Everyday Takeaway, and visitors could also explore the Christmas portfolio including dining options. Professional chefs were also on hand to provide samples of various products.
Hannes Floto, managing director of Makro, said: “We know that for many of our customers, Christmas is the busiest and most profitable time of year for them so we wanted to use this platform to demonstrate what we are doing to help increase their margins during this festive season.
