London 2012: How’s business? We need your input!

It’s been claimed that the London Olympics will be a big, and much-needed, boost to the UK economy. It’s also been claimed that it’s a colossal waste of money which will only add to the woes of hard-pressed British business.

The jury’s still out on that big question of course, but what’s been the effect on the wholesale trade? Whether your business is based in the capital, or one of the many venues dotted around the country, we want to know what – if any – effect the Olympics have had on your business.

Crucially, we’d like to hear from those of you in London who’ve been affected by traffic measures, including the much-criticised Olympic Route Network (ORN). Have your deliveries in and out been disrupted? Can your customers actually get to you, and you to them? How were you treated by bodies like LOCOG and Transport for London or your local authority? Were they helpful? Were they well-prepared?

Wherever you are, and however you’ve been affected, we want to hear from you so we can feature your voice in Wholesale News.

Please email: kevin.whitlock@btinternet.com with your stories and we’ll get straight back to you.
