Landmark own label ends 2012 on a high

Landmark Wholesale said December sales into depots rose by 7% compared with December 2011, while total sales were up by 8% for the financial year-to-date (YTD) from May 2012.

Lifestyle Value, the Characters ranges of kids’ drinks and sweets and licensed goods made significant contributions to sales, the group reported.

Landmark Wholesale business development director Chris Doyle (pictured) said: “The Christmas period is very important to us all in the independent sector and I’m very pleased to say that our own brands continued to prove their worth; Lifestyle Value and our Characters’ ranges were exceptional – both up well over 50% compared with December 2011 and we’ve lots more own brand activity planned for 2013 so we are confident about the year ahead.”
