Landmark own brand sales increase

The growth in sales of Landmark Wholesale own brands continued during December with sales into depots up by 27.9% compared with December 2010. Total sales for the fiscal year to date from May 2011 were up by 28.5%.

Number Three Tobacco products and LSV Energy Drinks made significant contributions nearly doubling sales for the month. Restaurant Wholesale, United Wholesale Grocers and AJ Wholesale have all more than doubled own brand sales in the current financial year compared with 2010/2011.

Business development director Chris Doyle said: “For the second month running, every Landmark Wholesale member’s own brand sales are ahead of the same period last year which is a fantastic achievement.

“This is no flash in the pan. The Lifestyle Value re-launch has got off to a great start at more than 50% up on last December and we’ve lots more own brand activity planned for 2012 including Value-Zone Cash Back Incentive displays in Lifestyle Express stores during January and February.”
