Landmark Wholesale has launched a point of sale kit for retailers to accompany its Vintners Collection range of wine. The kit is available free of charge to retailers and includes a set of shelf-edges with notes on tasting, 50 leaflets with a dispenser, wobblers to highlight award winners, and A4 window posters. It is designed to draw the consumer’s eye and highlight and educate consumers on their purchase.
The leaflet and shelf-edges provide simple tasting notes and offer suggestions about appropriate food to accompany wines. The posters and wobblers highlight Vintner Collection’s winning appeal.
The object of the POS kit is to raise awareness of the Vintners Collection by associating it with education and existing success and generate new interest and customers for the range.
Trading controller at Landmark Wholesale Steve Mayes explained: “Many consumers are put off purchasing wine due to the sheer mass of brands available. The kit will offer retailers and consumers confidence in the Vintners Collection brand and sound advice as to what food goes well with their chosen bottle, taking the mystique out of wine-purchasing.”
