Landmark gets fruity with Fruqua flavoured water

In an effort to tap into the growing demand for waters and soft drinks, Landmark Wholesale is launching Fruqua, its first fruit-flavoured water.
Available in three flavours – Strawberry and Kiwi, Lemon and Lime, and Apple and Blackcurrant – all with no added sugar, Landmark says that Fruqua is “an important addition to the soft drinks category to support independent retailers in meeting consumer demand for refreshing healthier options”.
Each bottle comes with a 35p price mark and a 32% margin, to provide value for both consumers and retailers.

“Fruqua is a fantastic choice for shoppers looking to satisfy their thirst while on the go,” says Jon Burton, Landmark Wholesale senior trading controller. “With sales of waters currently growing ahead of the soft drinks market, accounting for almost 20% of all unit sales, we were keen to meet customer demand. We know that UK shoppers are looking for healthy options that are affordable but without compromising on quality, and with one in three UK households drinking flavoured water, Fruqua meets this need perfectly.

 For a limited period, Fruqua is on offer exclusively in Landmark Wholesale member depots, priced at just £2.19 per case (12 x 500ml) from 22 August – 10 September 2016, offering retailers 37% POR. WSP is £2.39 (12 x 500ml), available only in Landmark Wholesale depots.
