3663 is aiming to encourage its customers to stage theme days with its new Key Trading Days package.
The package is for all kinds of establishments such as restaurants, pubs, bars, hotels, schools and hospitals.
Catherine Hinchcliff, marketing controller of 3663, said: “There are a few days every year when people don’t need much persuasion to eat out. Mothering Sunday and Valentine’s Day are two of the best. Then there’s the middle ground – the kind of events that call for celebration but require encouragement – a reason to go out or, in the case of staff restaurants, education and health, a reason to stay in.
“This is where our Key Trading Days package really comes into its own. We have calculated that effectively marketing 11 key calendar events through the year could equate to an extra month’s takings and profit.”
Modern recipes have been combined with off-the-shelf products so that caterers can either prepare a menu from scratch or order ready-made solutions for the event.
A CD is available which contains menus, posters and table talkers, which caterers can customise on their computers. There are also wall planners with key calendar events.
