HT amp; Co Drinks is celebrating the opening of an extension to its depot.
It has added 18,000sq ft to its premises in Park Royal, London, providing extra storage and selling space.
The area of the depot is now 80,000sq ft and the investment in the project was £1m.
HT amp; Co said the aim of the extension was to provide better space for parking and loading, improve customers facilities and expand ranges of confectionery, snacks and alcohol categories.
The extended depot re-launch takes place this week and retailers and caterers will have the chance to buy in to ‘HoT 100 deals’.
Phase one of the development started in 2005 when managing director Prakash Thakrar made the decision to upgrade the premises. Over 18 months the depot size was increased from 18,000 to 50,000sq ft, while continually trading at the site. During this time the company re-branded itself from Hothi to HT amp; Co Drinks.
According to HT amp; Co, sales achieved since the launch of the 2007 extension show that phase one goals have been achieved, and it says there is no reason why phase two will not be even more successful.
Thakrar said: “We’re very enthusiastic and looking forward to the future. The extension is good for our customers and so should be good for HT amp; Co Drinks.”
