Hancocks Confectionery, the specialist wholesaler, has launched a new and improved ecommerce website for trade customers, built with Magento Enterprise.
The wholesaler says the site signals “another exciting new chapter for the business”.
Executive chairman Mark Watson said: “2014 was our best year yet with company-wide sales grown by 13.4% to £129m. Our ecommerce venture has seen remarkable growth across both 2014 and 2015 with sales up more than 60% on previous years.

“The latest evolution of our ecommerce site, is a combination of the need to improve overall site performance to cope with the increase in demand and the complexities of our fulfilment operation. The new refreshed website design offers a new “mega menu” for easy browsing and a full screen experience for web visitors, with bigger images and more products per row to enable busy trade buyers to buy in bulk efficiently and quickly.
