Edinburgh-based e-learning specialist Bolt Learning has announced it has joined the ranks of the FWD membership.
According to Bolt, “We are partnering with the FWD to lead the charge in putting people development back on the radar in UK wholesale.”
Bolt is already working with key wholesalers and retailers such as Brakes, JJ Foodservice, Parfetts and Landmark’s Lifestyle Express, and offers a new-to-market online training and people development platform.
“The wholesale channel has two real challenges with regards to its workforce” said Katie Jenkins, head of customer proposition at Bolt. “Firstly, wholesale does not have the most appealing image to many, so recruitment can be an issue. And secondly many people feel there isn’t career development and progression available to them. We feel there is a huge opportunity to change that, and our technology based solution will put our clients at a real competitive advantage.”
“We’re delighted to be working with the FWD and their members to drive the message that in order to grow your business, you’ve got to grow your people” added Jenkins.
