The FWD’s Blueprint educational off licence scheme for independent retailers is attracting more wholesale involvement.
Under a new programme, wholesalers are identifying groups of their retailers for a Blueprint makeover.
This new “cluster” policy has already encouraged Athif Sawar, managing director of United Wholesale, in Glasgow, to sign up. He has arranged for his retailer development team to roll out a Blueprint programme in dedicated stores.
The Blueprint, covering beers, wines, spirits and RTDs, guarantees an increase in sales for retailers who implement it.
Costco, Turner Wrights and Dhamecha have also agreed to adopt the Blueprint for their retailers. More wholesalers are in the pipeline.
