FWD charts new routes to market for wholesale suppliers

Maximising sales and exploring new routes to market through wholesale is the theme of the FWD’s conference on July 11.

Designed to demonstrate the tremendous growth potential available to product suppliers working closely with FWD members, the event will reveal the opportunities on offer through routes to market such as foodservice, hospitality and the on-trade.

Speakers will reveal how wholesalers’ close relationship with hundreds of thousands of SMEs provides a solid foundation for investment, and how a greater awareness of the sector and its potential will incentivise supplier companies to work in close co-operation with FWD members and drive sales while supporting an essential infrastructure of diverse, ambitious and enthusiastic small businesses.

In particular the event will look at how wholesale is evolving with the move into online order capture and order influence, and how the sector will increase in value to both suppliers and customers as it rolls out the new technology. Details of top-level speakers from within and outside the wholesale channel will be announced shortly.
