A taste of Estonia from Global Brands

Global Brands has launched Estonian beer Viru.

Viru is from le Coq Brewery in Tartu, is produced using Lithuanian malted barley, hops and spring water, and is brewed to 5% ABV.

It is presented in an octahedral bottle which is based on a 100-year-old Russian design, inspired by the medieval turrets of Estonia.

John Harley, beer brands director at Global Brands, the UK distributors for Viru, commented: "Viru Beer combines all the richness of flavour associated with Central and Eastern European beers, but within a light and refreshing Pilsener style."

Viru is sold in cases of 20x300ml bottles.
