Dave Pogson, sales director UK of Cadbury, started his career in the food industry with Schweppes International, developing new products for Japan, after graduating in food science.

He switched from R&D to commercial in a marketing role with Coca-Cola, before moving into sales.

Since then he has held positions in both Coca-Cola and Cadbury across all trade channels, becoming sales director of Cadbury in 2005.

He says: "We are performance driven, values led and are delighted to have been invited to take part in the FWD annual conference.

"The key themes the conference will address are impulse, campaigning and the subject of sustainability. They all have an important role in working hand in hand; often doing good is also good for business."
