Chris Doyle joined Landmark Wholesale as its new business development director in January.

He heads Landmark's retail development programme at board level as well as being responsible for own brand marketing, the development of supplier initiatives to drive product sales and new member recruitment.

He has extensive experience in the sector. Prior to joining Landmark he held senior sales and marketing positions with food manufacturers Symington's, Twinings and Kellogg's.

He says: "I will be talking about making a complex sector simple and clear so that it is easy to navigate for suppliers and retailers alike, and about getting the balance right between a really strong own label offer in Landmark and Lifestyle and a very strong branded offer with a strong emphasis on value for money as well as added value products."
