Today's bags environment issue

The Today's Group has partnered Absolute Garments to produce a range of reusable cotton bags.

The cotton carrier bags are for member wholesalers and their retail customers.

Today's is starting by offering two cotton bags, one plain brown cotton and the second will carry the wording "Go, Going, Gone Green'.

David Warren, trading controller of the Today's Group, said: "The environment is an important issue with both consumers and business at the moment, especially given government legislation to cut the use of plastic carrier bags. We've negotiated a good deal with Absolute Garments for a very functional reusable bag."
