Chang Beer launches in the UK to complement Thai food dishes

Chang Beer, Thailand's number one beer brand, has been launched in the UK as part of a global roll-out for the brand. It is being imported from Thailand by Chang UK - a newly created company within the InterBev Group.

The initial distribution drive in the UK is being targeted at Thai restaurants; specialist oriental and Asian supermarkets, wholesalers, and cash & carries; off-licences and at the growing number of pubs and bars serving Thai food.

Roger Barrey, Interbev Group's director of beer - international, said: "More and more people are discovering Thai cuisine as part of their travels. With the launch of Chang we're giving them the opportunity to enjoy an authentic Thai beer."

Chang Beer is packaged in cases of 24x330ml and 12x640ml.
