Foodservice industry networking body Arena has announced the full lineup for its 2017 Christmas Event, which is being held at the Landmark Hotel in London on December 4.
Foodservice analyst Peter Backman returns to present his regular seasonal briefing but with a new twist for 2017 – as well as reviewing the past year in foodservice and giving his views on some of the promises for 2018, he will be joined by two ‘industry disruptors': Joe Moore, CEO of Crust Brother, the pizza business that has made the transition from street food to bricks and mortar; and Peter Georgiou, CEO of Supper, the irestaurant delivery business. They will discuss and debate the market and its trends, and they will welcome participation from the floor.
Headline speaker, Roger Whiteside, CEO of Greggs (pictured above), will give an insight into Greggs’ transformation from a traditional bakery into a contemporary food-on-the-go retailer in his post-lunch address.
Topics to be covered include the strategy for growth and to become the customer’s favourite for food on the go; supply chain ownership; and how Greggs stays ahead of the cross-sector competition. Whiteside will also share his opinion and experience on the hot industry topics of the day.
Tickets – which include a three-course lunch – are available but selling fast. Click here for more information and to buy tickets or contact Lorraine Wood by email or on 07803 853 618.
