Independent retailers’ and foodservice operators’ favourite wholesale partners will be revealed this summer as the HIM Wholesale Awards return to the FWD conference on June 28.
The conference, entitled Fast FWD>> The Future of Wholesale, will look at what’s next for the rapidly-evolving sector with the help of futurologists, economists, wholesalers and suppliers. It also sees HIM reveal some of the latest findings from its Wholesale Channel Research which delves into attitudes and behaviours of independent retailers and foodservice operators.
HIM’s wholesale study interviews customers across the UK and the awards celebrate and recognise champions across the wholesale sector.
HIM’s MD Jill Livesey said: “Collaboration across the sector is key to driving growth throughout the whole supply chain. It is vital that wholesalers understand the needs and demands of retailers in order to maximise growth opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.”
FWD chief executive James Bielby said: “We’re delighted to host the HIM Wholesale awards alongside our conference. The future of the wholesale channel depends on innovation and investment in our relationships with customers, and there is no better judge of success in this area than the retailers and caterers themselves.”
The event includes business sessions, dinner, networking opportunities and the HIM Wholesale Awards. Taking place at St George’s Park, the Football Association’s headquarters near Burton on Trent, the evening programme also includes live screening of England v. Belgium in the World Cup, with analysis from The Times football columnist Danny Finkelstein. A discounted rate for attendees is available until February 28.Book now with firstname.lastname@example.org.
