Facebook campaign gives a new twist to old favourites

Unilever Food Solutions has launched a new Facebook campaign to “celebrate the UK’s hardest-working dishes” that form the backbone of British menus.

The ‘Hardest-Working Food’ campaign, www.facebook.com/unileverfoodsolutionsuk celebrates the UK’s top three most popular and profitable dishes: roast dinner, steak and chips and curry. It what it says are “small, but impactful” improvements to the dishes – whilst still delivering on taste, cost, time, nutrition and sustianbility.

Tim Franklin-Heys, head of culinary services at Unilever Food Solutions, says: “We know that small, innovative twists can instantly transform a good dish into a great one – with higher margins and better guest satisfaction – so we’ll be posting exclusive tips to help chefs achieve this.
