Blakemore Foodservice has been awarded the supply of dry and chilled goods to two bodies – Leicestershire County Council and the London Borough of Barnet.
The contract, which extends until August 2017, is worth an additional £4m of incremental sales to the division, with Leicestershire being served by the Wakefield depot and Barnet by James Bridge.
Blakemore Foodservice sales and marketing director Jim Dudley commented: “Our Contracts team continues to add new customers to our portfolio as a result of meeting their requirements. We also continue to present professional, comprehensive offers.
“Both of our Foodservice depots are continually growing their sales, with each showing a 30% sales increase against the previous year. The Leicestershire and Barnet wins continue that momentum.”
