Dhamecha, one of London’s leading cash amp; carry chains, has signed a deal to supply the RC Cola product range to independent retailers for the first time ever. The cola brand was previously sold in the UK exclusively through Asda stores.
The deal between the Cott-owned RC and Dhamecha will see RC distributed to six of the latter’s depots. Confirmed SKUs for Dhamecha include 24 x 330 ml cans (price marked at 39p per can) and 2 litre bottles (price marked 99p) in Regular and Diet variants.
Independent retailers visiting the depots during the week starting 2 July can also avail of an exclusive launch offer on the RC range, along with a POS kit to merchandise their store.
RC Cola said in a statement: “With a summer of sport and celebrations to enjoy, people from all over the world will be visiting the UK this year. By teaming up with Dhamecha we’re able to offer independent retailers a chance to provide these customers with a bit of nostalgia, an authentic taste of home and one of the best tasting colas on the market too.”
