Creed launches Christmas campaign

Creed Foodservice has launched a winter seasonal promotion the “Spirit of Christmas” alongside a new seasonal brochure. 

The brochure features individual Christmas-themed pull outs to give customers inspiration when it comes to planning festive menus with literature focusing specifically on starters, mains, desserts, buffets and tableware. 

Managing director Chris Creed said: “We hope the new format will make it easier for customers to plan for all aspects of catering over the festive period.  Products are clearly categorised and illustrations give some great serving suggestions. Early feedback suggests it’s going down a treat.”

The “Spirit of Christmas” promotion is designed to stretch the promotional period throughout the winter season and beyond the festive period into the New Year. Customers collect points against items in the collection and redeem them in the New Year.  They place orders as normal and any promotional items add a points value to their account.  Accumulated points are indicated on normal invoices and redemptions are made on the claims form which customers will receive via e-mail once registered.

Meanwhile Creed has also taken the honours at the recent Gloucestershire Business Awards by winning the Environmental Award. 

The Award follows a year during which staff across the business from the warehouses, to drivers and logistics to office and administration staff, participated in new environmental programmes.  Investment has continued in local sourcing and sustainable purchasing programmes, energy efficiency programmes and fuel and carbon efficient efficient vehicles, (both delivery fleet and sales fleet),  telematics monitoring for all transport fleet vehicles, and programmes including waste oil collection and backhauling to increase efficiency.
