Creed Foodservice wins Out of Town business

Creed Foodservice has won the national account to supply Out of Town Leisure Group, which operates branded shopping mall units throughout the UK.

Chris Creed, managing director of Creed Foodservice, said: “This contract is worth more than pound;2m a year to us and is initially for one year. It is a testament to the investment and development we have carried out over the past 18 months that we are now winning major national accounts. Out of Town complements our existing national account portfolio while enabling us to retain our focus on our valuable local independent business.”

Creed is currently making daily deliveries of fresh meat, produce, ambient foodstuffs and catering essentials to all Out of Town facilities from its Cheltenham and Ilkeston depots.

Andrea Harrison, commercial director of Out of Town Leisure Group, said: “We began trading with Creed Foodservice in quarter three 2009. In the build-up process the team at Creed has been incredibly detailed and efficient with their planning which has led to a smooth roll-out.”
