The Foodservice division of CJ Lang Son has introduced an every-day-low-pricing (EDLP) policy on a core range of non-food products for a three-month period, and has unveiled its new logo.
The EDLP range consists of more than 200 lines and covers categories such as paperware, tableware, glassware and cleaning products.
Steve Irons, foodservice controller of CJ Lang, said: “We recognise that the non-foods element of the catering industry is every bit as important as the food and drink categories which are the mainstay of all catering and hospitality establishments.
“Products such as washing up liquid, floor cleaners, napkins, glasses and hand towels are a major focus area for caterers in this day of ever-increasing environmental and legal regulations.”
The new logo was phased in gradually on promotional leaflets and will now run on all stationery, literature and new delivery lorries and its website.
Irons said: “The design of our new logo is an exciting step forward for CJ Lang Foodservice.
“By depicting the image of a chef and altering the strapline, our logo now conveys exactly who we are and what we do, and gives off a clean fresh, contemporary feel.”
