Changes to meet the needs of customers

Managing change to meet customer needs will be the theme of the presentation by John Searle, trading director at Landmark Wholesale.

He will outline the significant and influencing changes in the market place during the past 12 months, identify potential future changes, threats and opportunities, and then suggest who, how and when should we respond, and look at the Landmark model to meet industry solutions.

Searle has spent his career in the wholesale and c-store sectors. He worked in buying for Lonsdale Thompson and depot management for Booker before joining Landmark central office in 1990 trading wines, spirits and beers.

In 1995 he joined T S Stores as business unit controller – licensed, before rejoining Landmark’s central office in 2002 as trading controller licensed, and was appointed trading director in 2004.
