Booker turnover reaches £3.4bn
Booker has announced its total sales in the 52 weeks to March 26 were £3.4bn, up by 6.5% on the previous year. Like-for-like non-tobacco sales rose by 6.9%, while like-for-like tobacco sales increased by 5.8%. Like-for-like sales to caterers increased by 9.1% and retailers were up 5.3%. Internet sales increased by 62.8% to £407m.
DBC Foodservice wins £8m contract
