Budgens has rationalised and re-launched its own label British cheese to reflect ‘Good, Better, Best’ ranging.
The packaging has been redesigned to highlight quality and to communicate the strength, flavour and characteristics of each cheese.
The Good range comprises an entry level Cheddar with mild, medium and mature variants, in a clear film. The Better range has mature Cheddars and other territorial cheeses, in opaque packaging. The Best range includes vintage and extra mature cheeses with matt-black wrappers.
Helen Thomas, dairy category manager of MBL, said: “We expect to build considerably on cheese sales and have has excellent feed back from our retailers.”
