Booker has lowered the prices on 650 items in the next phase of its Booker Price Rollback programme.
It says all the main product categories that are important to convenience stores are involved and the prices will be guaranteed through to June 21. A further range of price reductions for caterers, in its Lock Down programme, will be announced shortly and will also be guaranteed to June 21.
Products in the new Rollback phase include own-brand and exclusive products as well as brands such as: 12 x 170g Bisto Gravy Ganules at £9.25, saving £3; 48 x 22g on certain varieties of Walkers French Fries at £11.25, saving £1; and 24 x 380ml Lucozade is £10.49, saving £1.36.
“As the economy remains challenging and costs are increasing, it is good news for independent retailers that they can get great value at Booker,” said Steve Fox, sales director – retail.
“We are committed to lowering our prices to help retailers operate a profitable business. Booker Price Rollback will continue throughout the year as we are committed to offering everyday low prices across a broad range of products.”
