Blakemore Foodservice has won a five-year contract with holiday and leisure group Bourne Leisure.
Worth £150m in extra sales, the contract begins on November 1, 2014 and will see Blakemore Foodservice supply Bourne Leisure’s restaurants and hotels across the UK with fresh, ambient, chilled and frozen goods from its Wednesbury, West Midlands and Wakefield, West Yorkshire sites.
Blakemore Foodservice sales amp; marketing director Jim Dudley said: ‘‘The Bourne Leisure contract is an exciting and significant win for the Features > Business, which will see investment made in additional vehicles and the recruitment of new staff to work within the operation. Our staff were instrumental in the awarding of this contract and are really looking forward to working with Bourne Leisure.”
Bourne Leisure operates three brands: Butlins, Haven Holidays and Warner Leisure Hotels. Butlins runs resorts in Skegness, Minehead and Bognor Regis, while Haven Holidays is the largest operator of caravan parks in the UK and has 35 family-oriented caravan holiday parks. Warner Leisure operates 13 hotels and resorts in the UK.
The Bourne Leisure contract follows Blakemore Foodservice’s recent deal £3m deal to supply OK Diners roadside restaurant chain over three years.
