Blakemore Wholesale has appointed a stores group director to take responsibility for driving growth across the Lifestyle Express group.
Nick Rose, who joins from InBev where he worked for the previous eight years looking after accounts for Booker, Landmark, Asda and Tesco, also has experience in the US independent retail sector, having worked for 7 Eleven in California for two years.
Nick said: “One of my first jobs after leaving university was to work for Blakemore Foodservice and it is great to be back. A.F. Blakemore is a company with strong family values and ethics that appeal to me and the type of business I want to work for.
“There are significant opportunities to grow the business and the retail club in particular; it is my ambition to help the business achieve the undoubted potential that it has.”
Blakemore Wholesale Managing Director Sam Wilcox said: “I am delighted to welcome Nick Rose back to the company. He brings with him a wide and diverse range of retail experience and I have no doubt that he will prove a great asset to Blakemore Wholesale as we continue to grow and improve our offer to independent stores.”
