Bidvest Foodservice launches “Create Summer” campaign

This week Bidvest Foodservice unveiled its seasonal summer range to the hospitality trade.

The range has a wide selection of new items from both the Bidvest  own brand portfolio and popular branded items.

The wholesaler says the Create Summer range was developed using market research and insights as a base, and covers everything “from light breakfast options, fresh meats for BBQs and refreshing summer drinks, to snack items, delicious desserts, outdoor cooking equipment, crockery and glassware”; the company says wants to offer “an easy-to-shop solution – that is available both online and in printed brochures – for those looking for convenience and variety.”

Among the highlights are the Bidvest Foodservice Farmstead brand of over 300 fresh meat products available, all sourced for quality, consistency and value.

Gail Bridgeman, Bidvest campaign and activation manager, comments: “Summertime is all about social meal occasions, whether that’s outdoor eating, afternoon tea, buffets, or sharing a dessert whilst enjoying summer events such as bank holidays, sporting events, or the Queen’s birthday, there are a number of different options for operators to consider.

“Summer brings a great opportunity to extend to an all-day dining menu, from breakfast items – which can be made using the recently re-launched Farmstead bacon range – to sharing boards, on-the-go quick bites and snacks, all tailored to meet consumer demand and their specific dietary needs.
