Bidvest 3663 has won a £4.6m, two-year contract to supply the 198 health and care facilities of specialist drug and alcohol rehabilitation business The Priory Group.
The foodservice wholesaler will supply grocery and frozen products to The Priory Group’s hospitals and specialist education sites throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, enabling chefs and caterers to cook meals from scratch and deliver 24/7 food provision to residents and students with a range of special dietary needs.
Bidvest 3663 was selected for its “comprehensive product range, experience in the health and care sector and ability to support caterers in delivering food that meets the needs of various sites”, the wholesaler said this week.

We intend to use this knowledge and experience to help the Priory Group deliver appetizing and nutritious meals that meet the needs of their clients and support them as their business develops.”
Gary Kinghan, group purchasing manager at Priory Group said: “High quality food provision is a vital part of our service to patients and residents and Bidvest 3663’s extensive product range and expertise in the sector means it is best placed to help us achieve this.
