Bestway taste promotion for Cellar Estates

Bestway Cash Carry group has stepped up its promotion activity for its Cellar Estates range of own label wines for the spring and summer sales period with a tasting initiative called the “Take One To Taste” campaign.

From April 16 customers at all 50 Bestway and Batleys depots will be offered a free bottle to sample with every six-bottle case purchased on selected wines.

Bestway managing director, Younus Sheikh said: “There is no question that the Cellar Estates brand has been given top marks for both quality and value. This tasting initiative has been designed to help our customers help their customers to appreciate these key selling points of the Cellar Estates brand by promoting individual wines with their own in-store tastings. We also like to think that this idea endorses the Bestway belief of helping the independents to build their own business.”

The tasting initiative will be launched with Cellar Estates Claret and Bordeaux Blanc. Throughout the summer, two different Cellar Estates wines will be selected for tasting, every three weeks.

In addition to the free sample stock, cash and carry customers will also be provided with tasting notes and window posters to set up and promote their own tasting event.
