Bestway and Batleys is to launch an exclusive promotion its own-label range, Best-in, next month offering retailers the opportunity to stock up on fourteen £10 deals across 36 top selling SKUs.
The “Every Deal a Tenner” promotion runs across lines from impulse grocery and non-food and offers individual deal margins of between 33% and 57% PoR. However if customers buy all fourteen deals they will make 40.66% profit on their investment if sold at pricemark. The £10 deals include three cases of Best-in Mighty Kitchen Roll, 8 cases of Cookies, three cases of Best-in Chopped tomatoes and many others.
Nick Brown, category manager for own-label says, “The ‘Every Deal a Tenner’ promotion offers retailers fantastic margins, but also the opportunity to trial some previously unstocked products. The deals also give customers the chance to do their own in-store promotions, passing on savings to shoppers, while still retaining a great margin for themselves.
“Customer research has told us that customers want greater margins on Best-in promotions as they are seeing margins squeezed elsewhere. If you take Best-in Popcorn for example we have come up with a deal that delivers £13.62 cash margin on an outlay of just £12 (£10 deal plus £2 VAT).
